SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 22 (UPI) -- Barry Bonds, who has had two knee operations this year, said Tuesday he was "tired, just tired" and may not play for months, maybe the entire season.
The 40-year-old San Francisco Giants slugger made the comments to reporters after returning to spring training camp in Arizona.
"I'm just going to try to rehab myself back to ... I don't know, hopefully next season, hopefully middle of the season, I don't know," Bonds said.
"I'm tired, just tired, I really don't have much to say anymore," Bonds told reporters. "You guys wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got there."
