NEW ORLEANS, March 16 (UPI) -- James Posey scored 20 points Wednesday night and Memphis closed the game with a 9-2 run to defeat New Orleans, 88-82.
Earl Watson added 16 and Brian Cardinal had 14 for the Grizzlies, winners of seven of their last nine.

New Orleans was led by Bostjan Nachbar with 19. The Hornets welcomed back Jamaal Magloire, who had missed 51 games with a broken finger suffered on Nov. 26.
The Hornets took their last lead at 80-79 on a basket by Nachbar with 2:50 left, but they managed just two points the rest of the way.
