COL BKB: Wisconsin 59, Iowa 56

CHICAGO, March 12 (UPI) -- Alando Tucker sank a three-pointer as time expired Saturday to give No. 22 Wisconsin a 59-56 victory over Iowa in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.

Tucker scored 20 points for Wisconsin (22-7), which will play No. 1 Illinois on Sunday in the championship game.

Greg Brunner led Iowa (21-11) with 18 points. Brunner scored to tie the game at 56-56 and each team took a timeout with 3.7 seconds left. Tucker then scored the winning three-pointer.

Wisconsin led by one at halfime and stayed ahead most of the second half. After getting within a point on five occasions, Iowa finally tied the game at 54-54 with a minute left.
