DOHA, Qatar, March 11 (UPI) -- Richard Green of Australia took a one-stroke lead in the Qatar Masters Friday with a 4-under-par 68 in the second round.
Green, a one-time winner on the European Tour, was at 9-under 135.

Pierre Fulke, the first-round leader, shared second place at 136 with Robert Karlsson.
Thaworn Wiratchant was alone in fourth place, two off the lead.
World No. 3 Ernie Els, winner of the Dubai Desert Classic Sunday, was seven shots back after a 69 put him at 2-under 142.
Defending champion Joakim Haeggman missed the cut.
