NBA: Memphis 86, Toronto 75

MEMPHIS, March 4 (UPI) -- Shane Battier had a career-best 33 points Friday night and Memphis held Toronto to eight points in the fourth period to down the Raptors, 86-75.

Memphis Coach Mike Fratello won his 600th game.

The Grizzlies won their third straight after losing four in a row. Lorenzen Wright chipped in 20 points and Brian Cardinal had 13.

Jalen Rose led the Raptors with 19 points, but he was ejected with 26 seconds left in the contest for commiting a flagrant foul.

Toronto owned a four-point lead going into the final period, then missed its first seven shots in the quarter. The Raptors went scoreless for the first 5:36.
