NBA: Phoenix 124, Dallas 123

DALLAS, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson hit a jump shot with five seconds left Saturday night to give the Phoenix Suns a 124-123 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Dallas led 123-117 with 80 seconds left, but Phoenix scored the final seven points of the game.

Amare Stoudemire had 33 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Suns, who played without guard Steve Nash, who's out with a left hamstring injury. Quentin Richardson added 26 points and Shawn Marion had 25 points and 13 rebounds.

Dirk Nowitskiu led Dallas with 26 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Jason Terry added 27 points and seven assists for the Mavericks, who had a six-game winning streak end.
