LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Ramel Bradley touched off a nine-point run in the second half Wednesday night as Kentucky finally inched away for an 81-73 win over Auburn.
Kelenna Azubuike led the fifth-ranked Wildcats with 30 points, helping Kentucky clinch at least a share of the SEC's Eastern Division title.
Kentucky improved to 21-3 and to 12-1 in the SEC, having won two in a row after a shocking setback against South Carolina.
Auburn (12-14, 3-10) was led by 21 points from Toney Douglas.
The game was tied when Bradley hit a three-pointer to begin the decisive run. The Wildcats opened a 60-51 lead with 7:39 to go.
Auburn came no closer than six down the stretch and the Wildcats made nine of 10 free throws during the last 90 seconds.
