COL BKB: Oklahoma 69, Kansas St 68

MANHATTAN, Kan., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Drew Lavender, who had 29 points, scored in the closing second Saturday to hand 22nd-ranked Oklahoma a 69-68 victory over Kansas State.

The Sooners (19-6, 8-4 Big 12) who have won two straight after losing three in a row.

Terrell Everett added 16 points for Oklahoma.

Cartier Martin scored 22 points to lead the Wildcats (13-10, 3-9). Kansas State, which had a 16-point second-half lead, which suffered its sixth straight loss.

After Kansas State took a 68-67 lead with 4.5 seconds left, Lavender took the inbounds pass, went the full length of the court, and made a left-handed layup as time ran out.
