Venus, Clijsters to meet in quarters

ANTWERP, Belgium, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Venus Williams and Kim Clijsters, both of whom were once ranked No. 1 in the world, set up a quarterfinal meeting Wednesday at the Diamond Games.

Clijsters is playing in her first tournament since October after recovering from wrist surgery.

Williams was a 6-3, 6-0 winner in the second round over Virginie Razzano. Clijsters ousted Nadia Petrova, 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 6-1.

Williams and Clijsters will be playing for the eighth time with Williams holding a 5-2 advantage.
