SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Top-seeded American Andy Roddick repeated as champion at the SAP Open Sunday by beating unseeded Frenchman Cyril Saulnier 6-0, 6-4.
A former World No. 1, Roddick, who beat Mardy Fish in last year's final, won his 16th ATP singles title.
Saulnier also lost in his two previous matches against Roddick. He defeated Austrian Jurgen Melzer on Saturday for his first win in five career semifinal matches.
