The Clippers have lost four straight close games. They were led by Bobby Simmons with 24 points.

Los Angeles pulled even on a pair of free throws by Simmons with a minute to play, but Jamison gave the Wizards the lead for good with his three-pointer 15 seconds later.

Still trailing by two with 3.1 seconds left, the Clippers lost the ball out of bounds. Los Angeles Coach Mike Dunleavy argued that a foul should have been called on Washington and he was ejected.

Etan Thomas made the technical free throw to account for the final score.
