NBA: New Orleans 111, Golden State 108

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith grabbed a loose ball with four seconds remaining and then hit two free throws Friday night, giving New Orleans a 111-108 win over Golden State.

The Hornets, owners of the worst record in the NBA, have won two in a row.

Rodney Rogers scored 20 points for New Orleans and Bostjan Nachbar contributed 19.

Golden State was paced by 23 from Mike Dunleavy.

With the Hornets clinging to a one-point lead and time ticking away, Golden State managed to strip the ball from Dan Dickau.

Smith was able to gain control and was fouled. After Smith's two free throws, Dunleavy missed a desperation three-point try.
