BOSTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A 25-point performance by Ricky Davis Friday night helped Boston move above the breakeven mark with a 111-94 victory over New York.

The Celtics, leaders of the weak Atlantic Division, improved to 26-25. It is the first time they have been above the .500 mark since they were 3-2.

New York, losers of seven of eight, were led by Stephon Marbury with 31.

It was his fifth straight game with at least 30 points and he became the third player in franchise history to accomplish that feat -- joining Bernard King and Patrick Ewing.
