NBA: Atlanta 80, Orlando 79

ATLANTA, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Antoine Walker hit a jump shot with only 2.3 seconds remaining Monday night to give the Atlanta Hawks an 80-79 victory over the Orlando Magic.

The Hawks, who have one of the worst records in the NBA at 9-34, ended a four-game losing streak.

Orlando rookie Dwight Howard, playing for an Atlanta high school before bcoming the No. 1 pick in last year's NBA draft, had 16 points, 11 rebounds and a six blocked shots in his second trip as a pro to his hometown.

Steve Francis was high scorer for Orlando with 24 points.

Atlanta was led by Tony Delk with 17 points. The Hawks nearly blew a 12-point fourth-quarter lead.

Al Harrington had 16 points, six rebounds and nine assists for the Hawks, who won for only the second time in their last nine games.
