NBA: New Jersey 96, Milwaukee 90

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored 33 points Wednesday night and four players teamed for all but 13 seven of New Jersey's points in a 90-86 win over Milwaukee.

Jason Kidd and Rodney Buford both had 17 points and Nenad Krstic had 16 as the Nets shot 53 percent from the floor.

Milwaukee was led by Michael Redd with 30.

New Jersey hit 60 percent of its shots in the first half while building a seven-point lead.

The Bucks rallied in front with a 19-9 run to open the second half, but New Jersey regained control with a 10-2 surge at the end of the period.
