PROVO, Utah, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Three former Brigham Young University football players are set for a June 27 trial in Provo, Utah, for the alleged gang rape of a teenage girl.

Karland Bennett, B.J. Mathis and Ibrahim Rashada are charged with two counts each of sexual assault after the 17-year-old told police she was raped Aug. 9 in an apartment where Mathis and Bennett lived, the Provo Daily Herald said Wednesday.

A fourth suspect, William Turner Jr., is being tried in juvenile court.

Defense lawyers expect to file numerous motions, including a request to move the trial.
