NFL: Cincinnati 38, Philadelphia 10

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Rudi Johnson rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns Sunday as the Cincinnati Bengals swept to a 38-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jon Kitna connected on 16 of 27 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown for the Bengals (8-8), who have posted consecutive non-losing seasons for the first time since 1989-90.

Cincinnati won four of its final six games.

The NFC-leading Eagles (13-3) rested their starters for a second straight week.

Backup Koy Detmer started at quarterback and was 17-of-31 for 202 yards with two interceptions through two-plus quarters. Third stringer Jeff Blake led a late-game scoring drive and passed for the Eagles' only touchdown, a three-yard strike to Freddie Mitchell. He was 14-of-23 for 85 yards.
