NBA: Indiana 100, New Orleans 82

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Reggie Miller scored 24 points Monday as the Indiana Pacers had a 100-82 win over the New Orleans Hornets, who suffered their 25th loss in 27 games.

Jermaine O'Neal had 16 points and 11 rebounds and David Harrison 15 points for Indiana, which snapped a three-game losing streak.

Lee Nailon led New Orleans with 28 points. Dan Dickau had 14 points for the Hornets, who have dropped six in a row and 17 of their last 18 contests.

The Pacers used a 15-4 run in the first quarter to take a 22-12 lead. O'Neal had eight points in the surge. Indiana held a 27-19 lead after one quarter with 11-of-15 shooting from the field.
