NFL: New Orleans 26, Atlanta 13

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Aaron Brooks threw for one TD and ran for another Sunday and Michael Lewis scored on an 85-yard kickoff return as New Orleans beat Atlanta, 26-13.

Deuce McAllister rushed for 128 yards for the Saints (7-8), who won their third straight to remain in the NFC playoff race.

Brooks completed 12-of-24 passes for 227 yards.

Warrick Dunn accounted for 139 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown for the Falcons (11-4).

Matt Schaub, filling in for quarterback Michael Vick, completed 17 of 41 passes for 188 yards and threw two interceptions to Mike McKenzie in his first career NFL start.

Atlanta, which has already clinched the NFC South title and the second seed in the NFC playoffs, played without Vick (shoulder), running back T.J. Duckett (knee) and tight end Alge Crumpler (knee).
