COL BKB: N.C. State 72, BYU 61

PROVO, Utah, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Julius Hodge had 22 points and seven rebounds Tuesday night to lead 13th-ranked North Carolina State to a 72-61 victory over Brigham Young University.

Tony Bethel added 15 points and six rebounds for the Wolfpack (9-1), who rebounded from a loss to Washington two days earlier.

Mike Hall scored 18 points for the Cougars (4-8), who have dropped six of their last seven games.
