COL BKB: Pittsburgh 84, Penn State 71

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Carl Krauser scored 28 points Saturday to lead the No. 11 Pittsburgh Panthers to an 84-71 victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Chevon Troutman and Antonio Graves each added 18 points for the unbeaten Panthers (7-0).

Aaron Johnson scored 17 points to lead the Nittany Lions (5-4), who have dropped two straight after a four-game win streak.

Pittsburgh led 44-35 at halftime, but a 3-pointer by Mike Walker pulled Penn State to within 47-41 early in the second half. The Panthers then had a 13-6 run, to go up by 13 with 13 minutes left in the game.
