NBA: Phoenix 113, LA Lakers 110

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Quentin Richardson hit a three-point shot with seven seconds remaining Wednesday night to give Phoenix a 113-110 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Phoenix won its third straight game and kept pace with Seattle for the best record in the Western Conference at 16-3.

The Suns rallied from a 13-point deficit in the second half and tied it with three minutes to go on a three-pointer by Steve Nash.

Richardson put the Suns in front with two free throws and the Lakers tied it on a rebound and layup by Caron Butler.

Amare Stoudemire then made one of two free throws for the Suns and Kobe Bryant did the same thing for the Lakers before Richardson hit his game-winning shot. Bryant missed a three-point attempt at the buzzer.

Joe Johnson led the Suns with 25 points, Stoudemire had 23 and Richardson 21. Bryant led the Lakers with 20.
