NFL: Pittsburgh 17, Jacksonville 16

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Jeff Reed kicked a 37-yard field goal with 18 seconds left Sunday night to give the Pittsburgh Steelers a 17-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Josh Scobee's third field goal of the second half had put the Jaguars ahead 16-14 with 1:55 left.

Steelers' rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger directed a six-play, 56-yard drive to set up Reed for the game-winning kick..

Following Reed's kick, Jacksonville's Byron Leftwich hit Jimmy Smith on a 19-yard gain to set up a 60-yard field goal attempt by Scobee. That kick was long enough, but missed to the right.

The Steelers have won 10 straight and are one of three NFL teams at 11-1. Roethlisberger has won all 10 of his NFL starts. He was 14-of-17 passing for 221 yards and two TDs.

Leftwich wast 16-of-27 for 268 yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars (6-6).
