CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Rashad McCants scored scored 28 points Saturday to lead No. 11 North Carolina to a 91-78 victory over eighth-rnked Kentucky.

The Tar Heels (6-1), ran up a quick 11-2 lead and never trailed in winning their sixth straight game.

Jawad Williams added 19 points for North Carolina.

Kentucky (4-1) got 24 points from Kelenna Azubuike.
