NBA: Cleveland 92, Denver 73

DENVER, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- LeBron James helped Cleveland get off to a dominating start Thursday night and the Cavaliers went on to coast past Denver, 92-73.

In a nationally-televised matchup between James and Carmello Anthony, there was little contest.

James scored 17 points and dealt out nine assists as he got his teammates involved. Cleveland dashed to a 30-13 lead after one quarter and owned a 58-30 advantage at halftime.

Denver shot only 34 percent with Anthony producing 14 points while hitting six of 20 shots. It was the smallest point production of the year for the Nuggets.

Cleveland won for the 10th time in 13 games and broke a two-game losing streak.
