Jo leads LPGA qualifying

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Young Jo took the lead Thursday after two rounds of the five-round LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament by firing a 6-under 66.

She posted a 36-hole total of 7-under 137, one shot in front of Beth Bauer, Jordan Cherebetiu and amateur Paula Creamer.

The top 30 finishers will earn full playing privileges on the 2005 tour.

Jo played on the LPGA Futures Tour last year, where she finished 11th on the money list.
