NBA: Phoenix 120, Cleveland 101

PHOENIX, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Steve Nash was one of three Phoenix players with 21 points Wednesday night as the Suns stormed to their ninth straight win, 120-101 over Cleveland.

At 13-2, Phoenix has the NBA's best record and is off to its best start in 24 seasons.

Amare Stoudemire and Quentin Richardson also had 21 points while Joe Johnson had 18.

The Suns limited Cleveland's LeBron James to 15 points.

Cleveland is one of the two teams that owns a victory over Phoenix this year.

Phoenix went on an 18-6 run in the third period to break open a close game.
