TEMPE, Ariz., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Quincy Carter, shaken up early in the game, came back to throw a 69-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss Sunday as the New York Jets downed Arizona, 13-3.
Carter was hit in the head by defensive lineman Darnell Dockett on the Jets' first possession, but returned during the first half.
The Jets improved to 8-3 and remained in a strong wild card position, two games behind AFC East leading New England.
Moss caught five passes for 108 yards in helping the Jets win their second straight. Curtis Martin ran 99 yards in 24 tries.
New York protected its lead in the fourth quarter thanks to an interception and a forced fumble by cornerback David Barrett.
Arizona fell to 4-7, a record shared by seven NFC teams.
