COL FB: Va Tech 24, Virginia 10

BLACKSBURG, Va., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Bryan Randall threw two touchdown passes to Josh Hyman in the second half Saturday as No. 11 Virginia Tech posted a 24-10 victory over No. 16 Virginia.

Randall threw for 200 yards and Hyman gained 93 of those on four receptions for the Hokies (9-2, 6-1 ACC). Virginia Tech can win the Atlantic Coast Conference title and an automatic BCS bid if the Hokies can beat No. 9 Miami next weekend.

Cedric Humes rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown in the win, Virginia Tech's seventh in a row.

Marques Hagans passed for 111 yards and a touchdown for the Cavaliers (8-3, 5-3). Alvin Pearman rushed for 147 yards on 28 carries in the loss, and was on the receiving end of Virginia's only touchdown of the game, a 32-yard score early in the second half.
