NEW YORK, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh Steelers' punter Chris Gardocki won an NFL Player of the Week honor Wednesday for his peformance in a win over Cincinnati.
Gardocki placed five of his seven punts inside the 20-yard line and three inside the 10 in the 19-14 victory.
The veteran kicker was named for special teams in the AFC, where he was joined by Indianapolis running back Edgerrin James on offense and Buffalo safety Lawyer Milloy on defense.
Their NFC counterparts were Carolina running back Nick Goings, Green Bay placekicker Ryan Longwell and safety Michael Boulware of Seattle.
