STORRS, Conn., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Rashad Anderson scored 23 points Saturday while leading the No. 7 Connecticut Huskies to a 90-68 victory win over the Buffalo Bulls.
Josh Boone finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the defending national champion Huskies (1-0).

Turner Battle had 14 points for the Bulls (0-1), who haven't opened with a victory since the 1997-98 season. Roderick Middleton added 13 points.
Connecticut scored 18 of the games's first 22 points. A three-pointer by Anderson put the team ahead 18-4 with 12:34 left in the first half.
