Angels deal Guillen to Expos

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The Anaheim Angels announced Friday they had dealt outfielder Jose Guillen to the Montreal-Washington franchise for Juan Rivera and Maicer Izturis.

Guillen, 28, batted .294 last season with 27 homers and 104 RBI. But he was suspended for the final eight games of the season for going on a tirade after being removed from a game on Sept. 25.

Although the move by the Expos to Washington is not yet official, baseball owners are expected to give final approval next month.
