WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Chris Paul had 25 points and six assists Monday night to lead Wake Forest to a 97-76 victory over George Washington in a Preseason NIT game.

Justin Gray scored 18 points and Vytas Danelius had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Demon Deacons, who have won 11 straight season-openers.

T.J. Thompson shot 5-of-8 from three-point range and finished with 16 points for the Colonials. Mike Hall had 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
