NBA: New Jersey 64, Portland 60

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Alonzo Mourning had 14 points and 12 rebounds Tuesday night to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 64-60 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Brian Scalabrine and Zoran Planinic each had 12 points for New Jersey, which won for the first time at home this season (1-2).

Zach Randolph led the Trail Blazers with 16 points and nine rebounds. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Portland.

The Trail Blazers shot only 24 percent and the Nets 34 percent as the teams set an NBA regular-season record for fewest combined field goals made in a game (44).
