SEATTLE, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Betty Lennox, who scored 23 points, was named MVP Tuesday as the Seattle Storm beat the Connecticut Sun, 74-60, to win the WNBA title.
Lauren Jackson had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Storm, who won the final two games for a 2-1 edge.

Anne Donovan became the first female to coach a WNBA club to a championship.
The Storm gave the city of Seattle its first championship since 1979 when the Sonics won the NBA crown.
Seattle had a 51-46 lead before Lennox sparked a 13-2 run in the second half.
