NFL: Indianapolis 24, Jacksonville 17

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Edgerrin James scored on a three-yard touchdown run with 3:33 left Sunday and Indianapolis topped previously-unbeaten Jacksonville, 24-17.

James rushed for 83 yards on 19 carries for the Colts (3-1), who have won three straight games since a season-opening loss to New England.

Peyton Manninghit on 20-of-29 passes for 220 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Brandon Stokley caught eight for 97 yards.

Byron Leftwich was 29-of-41 for 318 yards with a touchdown for the Jaguars (3-1). Fred Taylor had 21 carries for 68 yards.

With the game tied at 17-17, the Colts methodically moved downfield and culminated a long series on James' score. On the 13-play, 74-yard drive that lasted 7:04, Manning threw for 33 yards and James rushed for 19.
