BANGKOK, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Switzerland's Roger Federer cruised past American Andy Roddick 6-4, 6-0 Sunday to win the Thailand Open.
Federer, the world's top player, has won 12 straight ATP finals matches. His 2004 record includes three Grand Slam championships and 69 wins in 75 matches.

The Swiss star is now 8-1 against Roddick, who is ranked No. 2. Federer has 21 titles in his career.
