MADISON, Miss., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Harrison Frazar shot a 5-under 67 Friday to hold onto a share the lead with Steve Pate after two rounds of the Southern Farm Bureau Classic.
Pate, whose last PGA Tour win came six years ago, shot a 65 to tie for the top spot at 12-under 132. Frazar is seeking his first tour victory.
Chris Couch posted the best round of the day, a 63, to move into a tie for third at 133 with Patrick Sheehan and first-round co-leader John Senden.
Pate, 43, has six tour victories to his credit.
"I am driving it a lot better than I have been," Pate said. "I haven't done real well here in the past because I kept hitting it in the rough. I've driven well for two days."
