LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Milton Bradley was suspended for the rest of the regular season Wednesday for his actions during a game Tuesday night.

Bradley was also fined an undisclosed amount.

A fan threw a bottle at Bradley after he committed a two-out error with the bases loaded against Colorado. He left his position in right field and began yelling at fans. He took the bottle that had been thrown at him and began slamming it into the front row.

Bradley was ejected by umpire Jim Joyce.

"I am truly sorry," Bradley before Wednesday's game. "I have anger problems that I can't handle by myself. I am going to accept this suspension. I want to make sure it never happens again."

Bradley was suspended earlier this season for four games for another tantrum in which he threw a bag of balls onto the field following an ejection.
