MLB: Cleveland 6, Kansas City 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Casey Blake had a two-run single in the seventh Tuesday to spark the Cleveland Indians to a 6-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Jake Westbrook (14-9) permitted just one run on five hits for the Indians, who have won two of their last three. Blake had three hits and three RBI.

Zach Greinke pitched seven shutout innings and David DeJesus homered for the Royals, who have lost three in a row.

Greinke, who allowed just four hits and struck out five, left with a 1-0 lead.

Cleveland rallied in the eighth against Jaime Cerda (1-3), loading the bases with two outs. Grady Sizemore singled, Omar Vizquel walked and Victor Martinez was hit by a pitch. Blake then delivered a two-run single.

The Indians scored four runs in the ninth.
