Winslow, two other Browns have surgery

CLEVELAND, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Cleveland Browns tight end Kellen Winslow, defensive end Courtney Brown and cornerback Daylon McCutcheon all had surgery Tuesday.

Winslow is expected to be sidelined eight-to-10 weeks after suffering a broken right fibula in Sunday's loss to Dallas.

The 21-year-old Winslow, the sixth overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, signed a six-year contract after a long training camp holdout.

Brown, the top overall pick in the 2000 draft, will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a ligament in his left foot Sunday. His recovery time is estimated to be six months.

Last season, Brown suffered a season-ending injury to his right biceps tendon in December.

McCutcheon had surgery to repair the broken middle finger on his left hand, an injury also suffered Sunday against the Cowboys. It's not known whether he will be able o play this Sunday against the New York Giants.
