MLB: Toronto 4, Tampa Bay 2

TORONTO, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Eric Hinske hit a tie-breaking, two-run double in the fifth inning Saturday as Toronto defeated Tampa Bay, 4-2.

Vernon Wells went 3-for-4 with a run scored, while Gabe Gross and Reed Johnson hit solo homers as the Blue Jays snapped a two-game slide and won for just the second time in eight outings.

Rookie David Bush (4-4) allowed just two runs, only one of which was earned, and two hits over six innings to even his season record.

Jason Frasor and Justin Speier each pitched a perfect inning of relief before turning over the game to Miguel Batista, who shut out the Devil Rays in the ninth to record only the second save of his nine-year career.
