OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Casey Blake's solo home run in the top of the 12th inning Friday lifted visiting Cleveland to a 4-3 victory over Oakland.

Ryan Ludwick and Coco Crisp each homered and finished with two hits.

Rick White (5-5) earned the victory after pitching out of bases-loaded jam in the 11th, while Bob Wickman retired the side in order in the 12th to record his eighth save.

Eric Chavez had a two-run homer for Oakland, which suffered its fifth straight defeat and saw its lead in the American League West shrink to just one game over Anaheim.
