Kim leads on LPGA Tour

BROKEN ARROW, Okla., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Christina Kim, a runner-up last week on the LPGA Tour, shot a 6-under 65 Friday to lead after one round of the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic,

Annika Sorenstam, making her first appearance since the Women's British Open, was a shot back -- tied with rookie Shi Hyun Ahn.

Another rookie, Reilley Rankin, shot a 67 to stand alone in fourth.

Kim's round was highlighted by a near ace at the 13th as her tee shot finished within inches of the hole.

Liselotte Neumann, Rosie Jones and Kelli Kuehne all shot 68 while Mikaela Parmlid and Karen Stupples were another shot back.

Defending champion Karrie Webb struggled to a 73.
