MLB: Toronto 1, Anaheim 0

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Toronto's Carlos Delgado drove in a run with a first-inning double and the Blue Jays' Justin Miller outdueled Kelvim Escobar in a 1-0 victory Wednesday.

The loss snapped a four-game Anaheim win streak.

Miller (3-3) pitched eight innings, allowing two hits, for the win. Justin Speier worked the ninth for his fourth save.

Escobar (9-10) struck out 12 batters in an eight-inning losing effort.

With one out in the first inning, Orlando Hudson blooped a double and scored the only run of the game on a double by Delgado.
