STTATE COLLEGE, Pa., Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Zack Mills passed for two touchdowns, ran for one and caught a pass for another to lead Penn State past Akron 48-10 Saturday.

Mills passed for 17- and 10-yard touchdowns, ran in from 5 yards and caught an 18-yard scoring pass.

Tony Hunt rushed for 137 yards and Austin Scott for 116 for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State got a 77-yard touchdown run from Hunt early in the game and never trailed.
