MLB: Baltimore 13, Tampa Bay 2

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- The Baltimore Orioles completed a three-game sweep of Tampa Bay Thursday with a 13-2 drubbing of the Devil Rays, who have lost six straight.

The winners erupted for nine runs in the final two innings to cap the rout.

Rafael Palmeiro, B.J. Surhoff, B.J. Roberts and David Newhan had two hits each to pace a 14-hit attack, and Miguel Tejada had three RBI.

Winning pitcher Eric Bedard allowed only one run and six hits in six innings, with one walk and six strikeouts.

Losing pitcher Dewon Brazelton (6-6) suffered his second straight setback.
