MUNICH, Germany, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Thomas Levet's a nine-under 63 Saturday tied fellow European Ryder Cup member Miguel Angel Jimenez for the third-round lead at the BMW International Open.
The two finished 54 holes at 15-under-par 201 for a two-stroke lead over Retief Goosen and Markus Brier.
The Ryder Cup quest of Colin Montgomerie and Fredrik Jacobson continued Saturday as they moved into a tie for fifth with David Lynn and Peter Fowler at 12-under-par 204. Paul McGinley, who is currently 10th on the Ryder Cup European Points List, was one shot further back at 11-under-par 205.
Levet also shot a 63 when he won this year's Scottish Open. The Frenchman has already wrapped up a spot on Bernhard Langer's team and had shot 16-under par over the last two days.
