CHICAGO, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- The Colorado Rapids shut out the Chicago Fire 3-0 at Soldier Field Saturday night.
Mark Chung scored the opener just after halftime, getting his second goal of the season. Matt Crawford, on a pass from Chris Henderson, sent a ripping shot inside the far post, making his first score of the season.
In the third goal for the Rapids, Chung served up a free kick from the right, and John Spencer rose to meet it eight yards from goal to head the ball in and finish off the Fire.
