Scott Hairston was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, but it was not enough to prevent the Diamondbacks from their ninth consecutive defeat.

Arizona starter Edgar Gonzalez (0-6) gave up four runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings. He also went 2-for-2 at the plate.

Floyd's RBI single in the opening frame put the Mets on the board first. The D'backs struck right back with Hairston's two-run homer.

Floyd's two-run blast in the third put New York back ahead 3-2.
